Dr Samantha Battams (PhD) has 29 years' experience as a public health academic, policy professional, program manager and management consultant across the health, education and human service sectors in Australia and Switzerland. This includes senior leadership roles in public health tertiary education/research at Flinders University, Torrens University Australia, The Graduate Institute Geneva, and University of Geneva. She currently holds Associate Professor academic status at the College of Medicine and Public Health, Flinders University.

Samantha is able to draw upon her broad national and international experience in global and public health, education, community development, health service management and government to a broad range of consulting projects. She applies her creativity, knowledge and conceptual and analytical skills to solve complex problems and effectively communicate solutions. She has worked on a broad range of review and evaluation, policy, and planning consulting projects across government and NGO sectors.

Samantha enjoys writing and writes historical non-fiction books and articles on South Australiana and has written 3 books, and tries to upkeep her French language skills.
